| DERVISH ALCHEMY |
Sufi Alchemy the new treatise by Laurence Galian "Dervish Alchemy" is an exploration of specific Sufi (Dervish) mystical spiritual practices. These practices are studied through the words of the most holy mystics of Sufism, the direct personal experiences of the author, as well as through the findings and theories of scientists and researchers exploring the very reaches of cutting-edge scientific thought. This treatise deeply explores the following: the Sufi ceremony of Dhikrullah, the practices of the Whirling Dervishes, and the System of the Lataif (the spiritual anatomy of the human being). This work contains an investigation of the Sufi experience in light of the most up-to-date discoveries in quantum physics, experimental ‘electric universe’ theory, and the world of vortices and torsion fields. Presented as well is a detailed, never before seen, unveiling of a new system of the Lataif. These are the Sufi centers of power within the human body (similar to the chakra system of Hinduism), explaining each Latifa in thorough detail and providing a concentrated meditation on the Latifa. Throughout this treatise, compassionate advice is provided for those treading the Sufi path, especially in regards to the hazards and pretext that await them on the path. The treatise delves into the nature of sainthood (the “Friends of Allah” in Sufi terminology) and how saints come into being. There is presented a detailed description of the pro’s and con’s of linking oneself to a Sufi tariqat (a Sufi spiritual "Order" or sect). The work concludes with an appeal from the author for humanity to awaken out of its stupor, a stupor induced deliberately by the forces of negativity, that keeps humankind weak and ineffectual on this earth. In truth, this treatise is a way to awaken out of the hypnotized state that humankind is now experiencing at the present time. This awakening can occur specifically by: activating the Lataif centers of power, profoundly exploring and understanding one’s psyche, opening the compassionate heart, and becoming aware of the methods and activities of the forces of negativity as they are being perpetrated on the human race. If the human race awakens, humanity may rouse to its full potential as the Face of God on Earth.
